The Sixth Form have had a very busy term!!

Our Physics trip to Cern in Geneva was a great success with a party of 40 students in attendance. Cern is the birthplace of the World Wide Web.

Five students took part in  ‘Le Festival Europeen du Theatre Lyceen Francophone’ at Easter in Saint Malo, France, performing a piece from ‘The Bald Opera Singer’ in front of over 1000 people. 

Not all work though, over Easter a party also went skiing.

While another group of girls have been dancing.

Sixth Form District Football Champions!!!   Well done to you all 4 – 1 against Alleynes High from Stone.

The three main political parties were represented at the Wolgarston Mock Election last week, with the Sixth Form Result being :

• Lib Dems 48%
• Labour 22.5%
• Conservative 24%
• Chose Not to Vote 5.5%

Mr Simmonds, Head of Sixth Form attended the AimHigher Higher Education Advisers' Conference at University of Birmingham on 21st April to gain a further insight into the university application process and how to support the applicants for 2011 entry (our current Year 12).
