School Production - Return to the Forbidden Planet

It is with great regret that we have to announce that the performances of the show on the 10 and 11 March have had to be cancelled due to illness in the cast.  These performances will be replaced by performances on the 24 and 25 March. Anyone with tickets for these nights can transfer them at no cost, but if you are unable to attend these dates, please contact the school office for a refund.

Key Stage 4 National Assessments

The following extract comes from a letter to our Headteacher sent by Ian Parry, Deputy Leader of Staffordshire County Council and Lead Cabinet Member for Children and Young People:

I am writing to say how delighted I am with the particular performance of your school in achieving year on year improvement or sustaining exceptionally high standards of attainment at 5+ A*-C including English and mathematics.  The outcomes achieved by your pupils are a significant achievement and must be a source of great pride to you and your school community.

The County Council is equally proud of this achievement and, on its behalf, I wish to extend my congratulations for the tremendous effort made by everyone concerned in reaching such high standards of performance.
